Simple Flash Homepage Layout

I love the layout on one of the featured "live shops" here at Zencart. The addy is: http://www.watcharama.com/zen/

1. How did they setup the homepage to have nothing but the header, footer and the flash banner?
I love this simple clean layout on the opening page, and I'd love to do something similar.

2. Once inside the site, how did they achieve the hover over the images to breakout a larger view of the image?

It's not flash, but a javascripted image slider / fader.

There are many available, and most will work with ZC. They can be a bit tricky for a novice to "embed" properly.

Columns are disabled for the home page. (Several techniques to do this, but the common one is to make a small edit in tpl_main_page.php

We use a variety of slider, fader and other image zoom functions.
