Can someone recommend an Insurance add-on?

I'm need to add an insurance option. I see there are a couple of options but wondering
if anyone has an opinion or recommendation on which one to use.

Insurance is generally an option provided the various courier companies, as such, in order to be practical this is where such an option would/should be implemented.

I don't know how an independent insurance module is supposed to work. Am I missing something here?

yeah good point. i was making some assumptions....

i have checked out 2 UPS plug-ins and neither of them have any options for insurance,

also, installed the Numinix insurance plugin but it's not selectable via the customer...?!?!

so i've been trying to modify so the customer can select but keep running into problems.
not a good enough PHP'er yet.

also, with the UPS plugins there is no Saturday A.M. delivery option,

and my client wants one. this project is making me insane

yeah good one. i'm there. i just 'rolled my own' UPS Saturday delivery option, took me hours but i did do it.
it's a sort of faux option but it works
