Google Base & Merchant Centre Problem

Hi,

I'm having an issue uploading my product feed to the Google Merchant Centre which used to be Google Base. They keep rejecting it & I think I know why, I'm just not sure of a way round it.

The problem being that I use the attributes area to determing my prices for my products as every item I sell has different size's. So when I add a new product to my website I put the price as 0.00 on the products page & then add the price/size options via the attributes controller.

I think Google is reading my feed that all my items don't have a price as they are taking info from the products page as far as I know. Does anyone know a way around this?

As you may be aware, Google implemented its new rules for GoogleBase on 22 September. The current module for generating the feed does not enable compliance with these new conditions - and furthermore, there is a massive challenge in getting the SBA module to work with GoogleBase module.

Several zenners are looking at this issue, and we should be very grateful that they are devoting their time and expertise to seeking a solution...

But it is not going to be easy.

Current situation is that the task may just be too complex for a quick solution - or that the people looking at it may just not be in a position to devote the amount of time to it, as this will take them away from activities from which they make their living.
