URL of purchase confirmation thank-you page

For analytics tracking purposes, we asked our developer for the URL of the confirmation page after a user completes a purchase. The URL he provided was index.php?main_page=checkout_confirmation. This is the same URL of Step 3 of the checkout process though - before the user confirms the purchase and may still drop out and not complete the purchase. So (assuming this is the correct and actual URL of the confirmation thank you page), is there a way to change this URL to make it totally unique? Our developer said it would take many hours of significant coding changes, and I am hoping he is mistaken.

You should try index.php?main_page=checkout_success instead

Using maybe these files
\includes\templates\YOUR_TEMPLATE\templates\tpl_checkout_success_default.php
\includes\modules\pages\checkout_success\header_php.php

or you could use the notifier at the end of
\includes\modules\checkout_process.php

Right. main_page=checkout_success is the page customers arrive at when completing their purchase. You can see it for yourself if you place an order ... which you should always do from time to time ;)
