More Information Sidebox New

I am using the latest version 1.39h and have used it on many sites in the last year and a half. I know there are many posts regarding the 'more information' sidebox but some are for older versions and I am lost. I love the program and I love the help available online. I haven't needed to be here for months, even though I've put up a number of sites for people.

Before lunch today, I easily changed the title 'more information' to 'Read This' and changed page 1 and 2 headings to 'AED Non-Liabilites' and 'LA Taxes'. Took two minutes. See www.aedsite.co I figured all I then had to do was go into define pages and drop in the html for each page, even though they are still named page 1 & 2 through admin. I don't care what the breadcrumbs say...that is for a rainy day to figure out. My new side bar descriptions do get me to page 2 & 3 but my html I put in page 2 & 3 does not appear. I put it there through the admin define pages editor, putting it on page 2 &3. Don't get it!

This can't be this hard and yet I read long threads on the subject. I think if someone could layout exactly what we need to do to accomplish these seemingly simple tasks you can put to sleep a long thread.

My only gripe about Zencart is too many files have the same name in different folders. Naming them englisha, englishb, englishc.php, would be great.

By the way, I've been making my layouts stretchy. I used to design for 800px. I am an American living and working in Asia and not sure what the new American size should be but since MS IE does seem to support the min-width thing I'm kind of stuck.

That link doesn't work. Are you sure you're editing the right files? You should have a custom template set up, and the define pages would be in includes/languages/english/html_includes/YOUR_TEMPLATE.

Will your content show up if you edit the file directly (not through the Define Pages Editor)?

I usually use a mainWrapper width of 960-980px. I think 1280X1024 is the most common resolution (for desktops, anyway).

Thanks for the prompt reply. It was my oversight as I had set up the sidebox in the layout boxes section of qdmin but had the pages turned off under config>define page status.
