Catalogue-style - E-mailing shopping cart contents

Hi,

I've decided our site shouldn't use the checkout system, because stock fluctuates daily with new items coming in and out every day. So I'm changing to a Catalogue system.

But is there a way for a customer to send us their Shopping Cart contents by e-mail? By pressing some E-mail button (like a checkout button) under the shopping cart page, the site will e-mail us their order + subtotal + shipping option.

Then we can check our stock -> Update them on availability -> Hear back -> Send out order

Any suggestions on how to best do this would be very appreciated! Thank you!

You could rename and fiddle with (and add to) the text on the Check/Money Order payment module to accomplish that.

Just curious - what exactly do you sell that makes the regular checkout unfeasible ?

We sell wholesale watch items in a physical store with items coming in and out daily. And I am not physically available at the store to update the stock levels every day. Also, by the time we finished customizing the site and entered all of the summer items, it already became Fall!
