The only reason someone would ask that type of question is because of a trust issue. If you don't trust your Hoster then time to find another.
BTW, you are being helpful in giving them access. As they are the Hoster they have access to everything and could access your Admin by other means, but it would mean more work for them. You save them time by giving them the login and you can always change your Admin password anyway, once they are finished helping you.
What exactly is the issue you are having?
