Default Date format problem in Specials in Admin

    V1.39
I have three products in the specials area, one has an expiry date of 2036 despite setting it to 2011 one is in US format and one is okay.
    What would cause this anomaly?

If you edit the Special, what date do you see?

If you set the date with the Calendar, what date do you see?

    Thanks for your response,
To pick the first one in the list (of 3)
in specials.php it says available 10/06/2011 and expires 10/11/2011
the original dates entered were 6th oct to 11th oct.
If i go to the edit page, the dates say 10th june to 10th nov, if i click on the calendar, it confirms that, so i change it to what i want it to be, all looks ok, i save it and we're back to square one...
2nd product says available 10/10/2011 and expires 30/11/2036, i changed the year back to 2011 but it keeps defaulting to 2036.
the third product is fine, dates all display exactly as i entered them.
To summarise, the calendar function agrees with the displayed date but both are not what i set or changed them to....

In your language file for the admin:
    /admin/includes/languages/english.php

what do you have in the defines that reference the date?
