I do have an online store...

I am now thinking of starting a new one with just a front page (with similar product categories) linked to my original website...

Please advice if it make sense...

What is the objective?
HOW will the sites be "linked"
How will data from your original site be rendered on the new site?
Will the site be a separate domain, sub-domain, add-on-domain...?
WHAT is the exact nature of the content on "site B" compared to that on "site A"?

We need more information...
