Centre image on home page

Hi I have tried a few things trying to get the image and the h1 tag on the home page to center. Also would like to remove images from new products. Client does not want images for products so have

#productMainImage {
display: none;}

but this does not affect the new products.

Very difficult to answer layout questions without seeing the site.

If this is the fusion site, try removing the red part:

#indexDefaultMainContent.content img {
text-align:center;
margin:0 auto;
border: 1px sollid #ff0000;
padding: 0 10px;
float:none;}

and adding:

#indexDefaultHeading {text-align: center;}

.centerBoxContentsNew img {display: none;}

And please tell the client for me that he's making a huge mistake trying to sell that kind of product without imagery.
