Website SLOOOOW

Hi my website is very slooow and i am trying to speed it up.
Anyone have any ideas?
I have enabled parse times which vary from 6 - 59seconds

20 seconds to load a page for me. Id change your hosting.

The stupid thing is it was taking about 1 second and now all of a sudden it has Slowed right down is it because of something i have done or????

Well i only had two products before and now i have liek 31 added in there but that is all - as far as i understand it it shouldn't slow it down!

I called the hosting company and they say i have some indexes the need redoing or something what do they mean??????

Lol, if they are Zencart recommended Id get them to tell you the exact problem.

wow that was slow! have you tried reverting back to the classic template to see if that is slow too?

Yes that is slow as well - 20 secs+
My admin is slowing down now as well - it must be the host!!!

Lol, if they are Zencart recommended Id get them to tell you the exact problem.

I contacted my host they said

First make sure all your plugins/themes/dashboard is up to date, then look for any slow sql queries (located at /tmp/mysql_slow_queries/), and perform some optimization on your Databases

I located the slow queries - i have 21 in my last file but none of them are over 2 secs most are 1.0 - 1.6 is that really going to slow me down to a 20sec - 58sec load time???
