Sidebox and product help needed!

Hi,

I have two issues I've been trying to solve. I have searched the forums and haven't been able to solve these two problems.

First, I want to move the left side box down away from the header. When I change the padding, it moves the whole side box down but also adds the same amount of space between the side box elements. I want the elements close together, like they are now, but I want the whole section to move down.

This added to the stylesheet:

#categoriesHeading {margin: 2.5em 0 0 0;}

but after you remove the extra curly brace just above this:

/*Shopping Cart Display*/
#cartAdd {
float: right;
text-align: center;
/border: 1px solid #01F6EE;
padding: 1em;
}

and add the missing one to the end of this:

.productListing-data h3 {
margin: 0 0 1em 0;

I still can't figure out my second problem.

If I want my products to display like the ones on this template:

should I use the column grid layout mod? I've been reading about this mod and it's successors. They all sound like they might do the trick. Am I correct? Is one preferred over another for this?

I'm using version 1.3.8a.

Yes, you'll have to install that mod.

The basic one in Free Addons works fine. If you want more individualized control over product elements, the Flexible Product Listing attached to post 50 in its thread may be useful.
