Admin stylesheet not loading in Chrome

I searched the forums and I can't find anyone else with this problem... it looks like Chrome isn't loading the style sheet for the admin area maybe? Anyone know why I'm the only one having this problem?

If you can eliminate the 'maybe' we will be in a much better position to advise.

Basically, if it is only the admin with the problem, then it is NOT related to your browser, so this is the first thing that needs to be eliminated (or proven).

Yes. It is because you have something different with your setup than everyone else. Exactly *what* is different is something that we can only speculate until/unless you provide a lot more information.

It is only the admin that shows any problem, but the admin area looks fine in Safari and Firefox. Chrome is the only browser that has this issue.

Do you have SSL enabled for you admin functions?

This would be the only other difference that could have an effect (well, the only one that comes to mind at the moment).

If you are using SSL then temporarily disable it to see if the problem goes away.
Please report your findings.

ps. Even though it looks like a Mac/Chrome issue (and it is almost certainly related, there is also something more to it).

I'm pretty much out of ideas now.

If *I* were you (unless someone comes up with other ideas), since the problem apparently only affects your admin section, and since you are probably the only person that will be accessing that part of the site, I'd just forget about the problem, assume that it is a bug in Chrome that is causing the problem (which is very likely), and just use firefox/Safari to administer your site.

I can't think of much else to do. The time it is going to take to positively identify the cause isn't going to be worth the effort. (In my opinion)

If you note, your logo is also not showing.

Right-click on the logo and choose "Open in new window" (or new tab, whatever). What happens? What's the URL? How does that compare with what the URL *should* be?

When did this problem first start happening?

the URL for the image is admin/images/logo.gif... I just checked and it's the same address in the other browsers yet it works fine. I guess this must be a chrome bug... it's not the end of the world, it's just kind of annoying having to keep a second browser open just to use my site's admin section.

I use Chrome and all my admins work fine, so its only a bug on your machine. Try re-installing Chrome.
