    Default Double Size Attribute?

I am designing a frame shop that sells custom sized frames. I need the visitors to be able to select a width and height of 5 - 80" plus be able to add fractions as well. Here is a screenshopt of what I am trying to achieve:

As you can see there is another attribute after the width and height selection that offers fractions. After the width of 12 visitors will need to be able to select another attribute of 1/8, 1/4, 3/4, etc to give the exact size. I figure I can align this via css with another add-on. I really need the fractions. Is adding another attribute for the width and height possible?

As it is now adding a width and height attributes from 5 - 80 is going to be time consumming. If I have to do this with only one attribute to include the fractions it's going to be really time consumming and cluttered. It just makes more sense and is neater if I can add another attribute for the fraction instead of including it into the first box.

Will the fractions affect the price? If the width and height contributions to the overall price are independent (seems reasonable for a frame), your task is relatively straightforward. Both inch and fraction attributes can have prices assigned, with a "+" prefix to indicate that they add together.

The Flexible Attributes mod can let you achieve the layout you show.

The actual inches from 5 - 80 for the width and height will have price attached. As you change the size of the frame we have to charge more. However, the fraction doesn't have to add price if it doesn't need to. I can round up to the nearest inch.

I have downloaded the flexible attributes but didn't install it yet. I didn't realize it would help with this issue, I just thought it might help with the layout.

My concern is how is this going to show on the order? I would like it to show as:

    Width 5 1/4
    Height 10 --

Will the flexible attributes put these together on the order area as well, or will they be completely different fields?

Flexible attributes will not affect the cart page. You would get something like
    Width: 5"
    Width fraction: 1/4"
    Height: 10"
    Height fraction: --

You will be able to hide the "Width fraction" legend in the attributes section of the product info page.

The pricing function is part of the stock attributes, not added by Flexible Attributes.
