I would like to know if there is any way to show the products under each category? I have just a few categories and a few products, so I would like them to show to give that sidebar a more full look.. is this possible? I can't seem to find anything in the admin section?

When you say "under each category", *where* do you mean?
When you click on a category it already shows your products in the main section of the page, "under" the category title and description which appears at the top of the center main-content section of the page..

Even though it's pretty old, I just installed this on a 1.5.1 test site and it seems to work as described:
http://www.zen-cart.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=255
It creates a new sidebox to replace the Categories box.

Aha ... Okay. I was confused because you didn't say that you were referring to the "sidebox". I read your question as being about the main content on the page, not the navigation.
