csv files/excel sheets

I am not yet using Zen Cart but would like to know if it allows uploading of excel sheets or csv files.

Indeed it does allow Downloading of CSV Files into Excel obviously as long as your Supplier produces CSV Files.

hi, i have a new zen cart store that we just upgraded from an old OS commerce. My question is i want to add more products in batches of around 30 at a time. what is the best way to do this from excel.

I have the title, description and price in excel spreadsheet and do not require images or any other complicated attributes, just a straight copy from excel into a certain product category that is already set up in the store

have been reading about easy populate but looks quite complicated for what i want to do

any help greatly apreciated
