I have the current version of zc. In Define Page Editor in Admin/Tools, I click on a page and click plain text; however, what shows up on the screen is html material. If I click the box from plain text to htmlarea, then I get plain text in the screen. Is this standard on all current versions out there or is it just mine? Is there a way to change it so it reads the proper areas?

That isn't normal behavior. It sounds your admin/includes/languages/english/define_pages_editor.php file might be screwed up.
