Featured products not showing on home page.

I have searched for about week and tried to fix this but I am at my wits end.

I am unable to display products in the center on the home page. I previously had this working and was able to view featured products in center of the home page. I have looked over the index listing setting under config and have selected 1 for Show Featured Products on Main Page. Also, I have checked to make sure I have products under Featured Products and that they are not expired.

I have 1.3.9 and have not made any major changes that I can think of.

What happens if you switch temporarily to the 'Classic' template ?

Thanks for your reply. When I switch to the 'Classic template' it does not display any products either.

Do you have Products and Categories in Categories?

One of the Products is showing as in categories_id 5 ... for the Product Abri-Fix Man Large ...

But, I am not finding the Category for categories_id 5 ...

If you check the Product and edit it ... what is the master_categories_id ...

I have just products under categories.

The master_categories_id for Abri Fix Man Large is 5.

Now that you have brought it up I noticed some of them don't match. Some of the products master ids don't match with the ID categories. For ex. Abri Fix Soft Cotton Small shows the Product Master Category is ID# 1 Abri-Man Formula 2 Shaped. But the Abri Fix Soft Cotton Small has nothing to do with ID#1.

Shouldn't all of them match?

All of your Products should have a match of the master_categories_id to the Category that they belong to ...

Do you use Linked Products?

I do not use Linked Products.

Backup your database ...

Then, you should be able to run the Tools ... Store Manager ...

Reset ALL Products Master Categories ID
to be used for Linked Products and Pricing:

Then run the:

Update ALL Products Price Sorter
to be able to sort by displayed prices:

See if this fixes all of the master_categories_id ...

Just today, my featured products ( http://lilyoftheeast.com )has stopped displaying on the home page.
Tried doing the suggestions from previous threads but haven't had much luck.
Any help out there? Thank you!

Looks like something in your stylesheet ... do a view source and you will see there is a Featured Product in the box ...
