MY admin products sorting is not quite right...

In admin-> a list of products you can choose the displayed sort order via a pulldown on the top right.

Mine works apart from sorting by product price+ or -.
Its ok on a vanilla 1.39 and 1.5 so it must be something I've added.

The code looks simple enough in categories.php and if I swap out categories.php and /includes/category_product_listing.php for original versions it doesn't cure the problem.

What other files may affect this?

Do all of your Products have the right value in the table:

in the field:
products_price_sorter

What I should have said is, if I just copy ALL the values between the columns, although some are on a special price and I assume the column should reflect that, if I can't be bothered to search and change them individually, this will only cause the sort order to be wrong in the admin and not effect any front-end functionality?

First, check in phpMyAdmin that all of the Products in the table:
products

have a master_categories_id ... none should be set to 0 ...

Then, you can use in your Zen Cart Admin, providing none of these are 0, the Tools ... Store Manager ... and just run the:

Update ALL Products Price Sorter
to be able to sort by displayed prices:

that will fix all of the products_price_sorter with the correct values for you ...
