Deleted store in file manager

First of all I'm a rookie so please bare with me. This is what I have done. I have 2 sites hosted through my Ipage account. one is zencart and the other is wordpress. I have some how overridden the zencart install with the wordpress install. when I installed wordpress it deleted all my zencart files in file manager because I had them both set at "home directory". the question is, How do i get all my zencart site to work now? it says "forbidden" when you go to the url. when i log into zencart my store is still there, thank god!. I JUST NEED TO GET IT BACK UP AND RUNNING. also i have deleted all the wordpress files in filemanager. so im starting on a clean slate again.

Installing Wordpress probably overwrote the index.php file. Get that file from the Zencart zip file and upload it to the root (top) directory of your store, overwriting the one that's there.

You can't install both of those programs in the same folder.

Install Wordpress in a folder called /wordpress.

you are right thats exactly what i have done.

where do i get the zencart zip file? the only file i have is zc_install. and thats already there.

Click on 'Home' at the top of this page and download the zip file.

It's still not working... can i just uninstall the zencart app and re install it? or will it delete my store? or is there any way to back up the store so i can just reinstall it?

What exactly are you wanting to backup? Products? Actual customers and orders?
or just template/layout changes?

Backups consist of two parts:
- PHP files and images
- database containing products/customers/orders

You backup files by using your FTP program.
You backup the database by using a tool like phpMyadmin: https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/i...hp?article=103

ive been fooling around with this for a few days now and still cant figure it out. I I unstalled zencart from "my installs" on ipage and i dont know how to get it back. i downloaded the Zip file and tried putting it back but its just a blank page now. where did my store go? is it gone or can iu get it back?

Probably a question for your host. Most here don't use auto-installers, so we wouldn't know where your site went, but if you selected 'uninstall' my guess would be that it's gone. What were you trying to accomplish when you uninstalled it ?
