Hi,
Is it possible to make the forgotten password email start with Dear (customer name) like it does when a customer makes a new account.
For example Dear Ms Simmons instead of starting A new password was requested from 80.2.190.102.
Thanks
Lauren

The email is intentionally vague so as to not disclose personal information needlessly.
However, if you wish to change the normal functionality, you're welcome to write custom code to look up the customer's name and gender from the database, figure out the appropriate salutation based on gender, combine them together, and add them to the email. You will need to alter core files to do that, and will need to re-make those customizations every time you upgrade.
