    Default Cannot access admin after installation with Softaculous

    Just installed the latest Zen. Have an old site already up, so this one is just a test for when we switch. I've been brought in new and I'm trying to figure this all out. Here's the test site

    The images are a mess... the whole page is a mess... I CANNOT find the admin folder or the tools folders on my cpanel. I'm very green green green, but with some tech knowledge. Just green with web design and ecommerce.

    Someone hold my hand, please...

    Your admin folder (renamed) will be in the root (top) directory of your store.

    Did you use some sort of auto-installer (like Fantastico) to install Zencart ?

    I did. I used Softaculous. I had read in another post (I did try to find a solution before posting mine) that these can move the admin folder elsewhere. I thought that might be the problem, but how do I find it? I've got something called zcadmin. Do I just need to rename that?

    I gave it a shot and changed the name of the zcadmin to admin and the page still looks the same. I read the article that you linked to, but am not sure if this is what I need. In that admin folder, shouldn't there be a tools folder and what-not?

    No. The admin options don't have their own folders.

    Using your FTP program, you should be able to find your admin folder in the root of your store.

    I went back and looked at the zen cart files that I downloaded to my desktop and noticed that yes... the zcadmin fold is the admin folder. I changed the name, but I am still having the same problem.

    You've specified HTTP_SERVER = http://plumleos.com/ in your configure.php files, but you're accessing it at an IP address. Since those are likely different servers, you'll need to temporarily put the IP address in your HTTP_SERVER setting, ie: http://111.222.333.444

    I went in and edited configure.php in my includes folder to reflect the IP address. The one in my admin folder (I just noticed) says configuration.php... not configure.php. Should it? Still does not seem to be making a difference...

    The /admin/configuration.php is a program script. The /admin/includes/configure.php is the one which contains the settings.

    "configuration.php" is very different from "configure.php" :)
