Hope I'm in the right category. I was leaning towards the install section, then saw this shipping category.

I just moved hosts. It's done, just waiting on the domain shift so my new site starts appearing in search results. Old site is in maintenance mode, new site is up for business. Yep those customers should come rolling in any minute now. Just waiting.......

Anyhow, I use the USPS shipping calculator API. I emailed USPS to say I was changing hosts, but that domain wouldn't change - actually it's transparent to everyone but me - and they said since I was changing servers I had to request a new API.

No problem - I went to the link they provided:

It asks for all the new information. Problem is - this is all the same as the information they already have from the old site. I'm afraid to fill it out and get rejected for already having an account.

I did check to see if the shipping module worked on the new site - I have a "dummy" customer I use. I put an item in my basket and checked the postage price and it worked.

So common sense says leave it alone, but I remember the warning from my first install that if I'm caught using the API anywhere else than where I said it would be, they'd yank it.

Solutions or suggestions? TIA.
