Incorrect Bread Crumbs when Product in Multiple Categories

I have an issue with a LIVE store that I have only discovered this week. When a product is included in more than 1 category (i.e. it is linked in a different category to the one which is its main category) then the bread crumbs appear wrongly when the product is viewed via the linked category. When the product is displayed the bread crumb displays the path for the product in the master category, as opposed to the linked category which is where the product was linked and clicked from in the browser.

Our store has been LIVE for some time and I have several modifications installed including Magic SEO and also a custom NAV Menu which only shows some hard coded Categories (the linked ones).

ZC version is 1.3.9f

A stock Zencart installation renders the breadcrumbs for linked products properly, so I would suspect your SEO module. Can you turn that off temporarily to see if the problem goes away ?

Cheers stevesh, it would appear to be related to Magic SEO, as when disabled the Bread Crumbs correctly reflect the Category from which the product was clicked. I have contacted InveoStore to find out what they suggest.

We had an SEO mod installed on our site recently and I've just noticed this very same issue. Did you ever get to the bottom of it? Weird thing is, it only happens to products in one of our categoroes.

Good Question, maybe Magic SEO fixed this in a newer version? If you are using another SEO module I would recommend checking the support thread for the SEO module you installed (or if commercial contact their support).

Hello, thank you for the reply. The fix was really simple. In admin/configuration/SEO URLs:

Add cPath to product URLs? true
