So I'm trying to setup a ZenCart but I need each of my 3 categories to have their own shipping rules. I've read the documentation and searched around these forums a bit but I'm not seeing any clear answers.
I'm running a clean install of ZenCart, no addons, the only thing I've done is install a theme and a shipping module.
Example Categories...
---
Survival Kits - Fixed flat shipping prices per product. ex. SK1 = $15, SK2 = $22
Food Storage - Canada Post shipping module. ex. FS1 = $?
Knives - Fixed low rate flat shipping with a complete discount if checkout/cart has more than $100 of items in it. ex. K1 = $7.50 (K1 = $0 if cart +$100)
---
If someone puts both a Survival Kit and a Food Storage item in their cart the shipping total needs to be both the flat shipping from SK1 and the calculation from the Canada Post shipping module. It cannot be one or the other.
So I realize this seems complicated but its based on several factors that are somewhat out of my control. At the very least I need the ability to control that A) some items get flat shipping and B) some items get controled by the shipping module. Knives are obviously another beast with C) if the cart is over $100 the knives should have 0 shipping cost. Maybe C cannot be done, but A and B are something I need to try and figure out.
Is any of this possible?
