Picture won't upload to products

I just installed Zen Cart using Go daddy hosting site. What I am having a problem with is that the picture won't upload or won't show. I have made a product page and in the product image I click on browse, I then click on the picture I want to upload from my picture folder and hit preview. The product description displays but I get a No Picture Available box. This is the way I use to do it with osCommerce. So I am doing something wrong or it doesn't work the same. Can someone lead me in the right direction please.

Well I think I have it. I uploaded the picture to the FTP file and then used that file to post the picture. Seems like extra work but what ever it takes.
