    Default Meta tagging choices question

Would anyone know when marking "Mark What the Product's Meta Tag Title Should Include:" the different titles (i.e Product Name :, Title, Model: Price:, Title/Tagline:) checking the yes box on each item , that after a matter of days all the boxes revert back to NO.
I had noticed the hits on my site had dropped substantially over a period of time. So I deceided to check all my meta tags on all my products, all had reverted to no, so what I did is go through a certain number of products and reverted them all back to yes, Immediately within 24 hours there was a spike in hits ( I did this on several occasions), but this is a long procedure for something that has already been done. Can anyone tell me why this is happening and is there anything I can do to stop it from happening. Your help as usual is always appreciated.

Well I figured it out, Took a while but I now know.
Under Product Info under configuration: Meta Tags - Include Product Model in Title & Meta Tags - Include Product Price in Title, set them both to on. I had one off and 1 on. What this does is set ALL your meta tags to the same settings. after setting these settings I refreshed and All my meta tags where on.

I'm unsure what you're saying here. It sounds like you're saying that if I don't want to Include Product Price in Title, then the meta tags won't work?

Well actually the whole idea is wrong. I checked my Meta tags the next day and again they had reverted back to No. BUT, I beleive I found the problem this time, I realized that I had done a easy populate of my site, which I do about 4 times a week, Just the day before. So what I did is revert all the meta tags to yes and auto populated my site again and Voila the meta tags on 285 items out of 823 had reverted back to No.
Now the problem is I don't know why. I'm trying to study the script to see if there is anything there that is returning meta tags to their default settings.
Would anybody out there know if this is at all possibel and if so what is the remedy.
    Thanks again,
