So now that the perms on the ipn script are correct my test (which is _after_ the customers order) came through.
Should I be concerned about the customers order since he placed it at least 20 minutes _before_ my test?
I read in the wiki that PP retries "hourly". Does this mean literally on the hour of the order or just vaguely "hourly"?
And does anyone know if orders are processed in priority sequence?
Sorry, I don't know about those errors, but I suspect the problem will go away if you uninstall IPN and install the much more stable Express.
Well, crisis averted...the order finally came through.
So I should switch to Express then? Seems the general consensus is Express is better. Anyone care to explain why?
Paypal IPN is outdated and requires a solid ability for your server and Paypal's to communicate in real time. Paypal Express apparently doesn't require that real time connection and is much more reliable. Your customers will have the same options and payment experience. There's no reason I know to use IPN anymore, and I wouldn't be surprised to see it removed from future Zencart versions.

I have also experienced an order that was received on Paypal, but not shown on my ZC.
I have only the Paypal Express Check out payment module enabled on my ZC, if Paypal Express Check Out does not use IPN token, should I also disable IPN on my paypal account?
