Can Moderate/Remove Negative Testimonials?

Hi,

I have someone who wants me to install the Testimonial Manager add-on for her. The problem is that she wants to make sure that she's able to moderate/remove negative testimonials (if any) from the website.

I've looked all over and can't find anything that says that you can moderate/remove negative testimonials (I'm assuming you should be able to though).

Can someone who's currently using or used this add-on before confirm this for me? It's not my website so I can't just install it to find out. I've already tried posting in the support thread for Testimonial Manager, but I think it's more for just suggestions/feedback on the add-on, so I don't think I'll ever get an answer to my question there.

I see this:

Admin -> Tools -> Testimonials Manager allows administrators to create & edit testimonials

I guess that's a workaround but I don't think she would be happy with that response as it still doesn't quite answer her question. Unless if by "edit testimonials", it also includes the ability to remove any ones that she doesn't want appearing on the website.

The Testimonial Manager support thread is definitely for problem-solving and answers; however, Clyde Jones, the mod's author, passed away in September and I don't know if anyone else is knowledgeable enough and has time to pick up support.

Admin - Tools - Testimonials Manager lists the testimonials and you can delete or change the status of any particular one to off, so it looks like it'll do the job.

I'm sad to hear about that. I guess that explains why the add-on hasn't been updated in awhile.

I'll see what she has to say about this, but I'll still patiently wait and see if anyone else has any answers.

We use Clyde's module on quite a few sites and all testimonials that are submitted are first VETTED by the site owner, before being shown to the public.

(I learned of Clyde's passing only tonight... How sad. He made many significant contributions to ZC and the ZC community has lost a great advocate and supporter.)
