Default Warning Message on my website

    Hi
I have had the following message posted to my website:

Warning: I am able to write to the configuration file: /home/sho14623/public_html/includes/configure.php. This is a potential security risk - please set the right user permissions on this file (read-only, CHMOD 644 or 444 are typical). You may need to use your webhost control panel/file-manager to change the permissions effectively. Contact your webhost for assistance.

I've changed my configurations and spoken to my website host, who advises that they can't find the file to remove it. They say it must be embedded in code.

I'm using an old version of Zen 1.3.7 (yeah, I know I should upgrade).
Can anyone offer any info as to how I can remove this message from my website?

    Thanks in advance

    Cheers

You are at very serious risk of hacking, so forget about the config warning, and get an upgrade done asap.

And while you are about it, fire your webhost, who clearly does not even know how to plug a computer into a wall socket...

...who advises that they can't find the file to remove it. They say it must be embedded in code...

My toddler would come up with a better explanation, and his level of experience is still at pre-school vTech level!

The guy is a complete buffoon. If you "remove" configure.php, the site will not even open up...

The issue is one of permissions (CHMOD) and you could try setting it to 444, or even stronger.

    But to remove it...

I am gob-smacked at his complete ignorance!
