    Default 1.5.0 RC1 to RC2

    Howdy,
Just got the email re: 1.5.0 RC2 (having just installed RC1).

Can't seem to find any reference to the changed files from RC1... Docs seem to just cover 1.3.9 - 1.5.0, and the "You may also see the list in the support forum here." links to http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=XYZ ... "No Thread specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator".

Apologies if I'm missing the bleedin' obvious.

    As it's merely a release-candidate, there's no list of changed-files-between-RC1-and-RC2.
You can very quickly prepare your own list of files by unzipping both versions and using WinMerge to show the list of changes. A quick drag-and-drop will give you the list in a few seconds.

    Aah. Thanks.
Don't suppose you (or anybody else) can recommend a similar program for Mac?

Also on Mac, you can use native Unix commands like find and diff in a Terminal window.

Thanks. I can report that TextWrangler works spiffingly.

Only a few php files changed. I assume I should upload all, even though I'm manually updating code rather than doing a fresh install?

Does it matter that the database project_version_minor [Zen-Cart Main] is still 5.0RC1? If so can I just manually update the relevant fields in phpMyAdmin, and move RC1 to project_version_history (as per the installer code)?

    Thanks

DB version often doesn't change with minor patches (see for instance 1.3.9).

Yes, you should upload all changed files. This way when you press the version link in admin you'll get the right answer.

There were no database upgrades required, so there's no need to touch the database version entries.
As swguy said, you should upload ALL changed files.
