SSL Issues

Hello,

I am using 1.3.9h on one of my sites and have purchased an SSL and have the site on its own IP Addy. The SSL is installed on the server/site however it is not showing up when accessing the Login, Create Account or Checkout pages when trying to access any of them. I have enabled the SSL in both the admin/includes/configure.php as well as the /includes/configure.php and have the https site as https://www.mysite.com in both files as well.

Now I also have the Admin folder under the SSL and it works fine so if I point to http://www.mysite.com/admin/ it actually goes to https://www.mysite.com/admin/.

But in the main store nothing actually shows up with the https:// unless I actually type in https://

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

What/where is your actual site?

FTP the configure file to your local and open it to verify it is as you want

Site is actually bathandbodyconnection. com

Not sure what you mean by "FTP the configure file to your local and open it to verify it is as you want". I have edited both configure files to enable SSL as well as to make sure that the SSL was pointing to the https protocol.

Verify the file contents -- if they are 444 - - they can not be altered

Ahhh ok, well that was the problem. I didn't noticed that it failed to upload in FileZilla. So I set the permissions to 777 reuploaded and then reset back to 444. Now everything is working fine.

Thank you very much for pointing out to me about the permissions as I had completely forgot about that.
