My Coupons Not Working

well i make a coupon attempting to offer 10% off, but the coupon created offer $10 off and i don't know why.

also, when redeeming the coupon it shows a green box saying 'Congratulations you have redeemed the Discount Coupon', but there is no discount made to the price.

any help?

With no real details or a URL - anyone would just be guessing...

well, the best details i can give are that when i make a coupon, i add the % after the number but when i confirm and create the coupon, the % is gone and there is a $.

and, when redeeming the coupon it shows a green box saying 'Congratulations you have redeemed the Discount Coupon', but the price does not change from the original price...the discount is not applied.

I am having this exact same problem.

When I make a coupon with a % amount is is changed to a $ amount and when coupons are redeemed, there is a success message, but the amount is not discounted.

I am having this exact problem, can someone please help us with this as soon as possible? Thanks

I found the problem. . .

If anyone else is experiencing this, you probably have the free shipping box clicked, and apparently this will override the coupon amount.

I have un checked this box and now the percentages and discounts are working as they should.

that's the problem i was having...anybody know why this happens and if zencart will fix it?
