    Default htmlarea saving source code as rich text

    I've searching on the forums and have not found anything related to this issue.

    When I paste HTML "source code" into the newsletter editor interface, it is saving the HTML as rich text, i.e. it converts the HTML code into text. I tried pasting HTML into the text editor and pasting as source code into HTMLarea editor and even installed and tried tinyMCE.

    In both WYSIWYG editors, the HTML displays properly; however when it is saved and in preview, it is saved as HTML-code- converted-to-richtext.

    I (re)uploaded the HTMLarea editor files and the admin/includes/modules/newsletter files.

    What is weird is that I have other installations of zen cart that are essentially the same - same plugins, same template etc. - and I have no problem with those.

    I don't know where to look next. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

    ZC version 1.3.9g

    Thanks!

    There was a bug related to that in v1.3.9g, which was fixed in v1.3.9h.

    I [finally] found the solution.

    File:
    admin/includes/autoloaders/config.core.php

    Line 140 & 141

    Remove (or comment out) this:

    Code:
    $autoLoadConfig[60][] = array('autoType'=>'init_script',
                                    'loadFile'=> 'init_sanitize.php');
    And it started working.

    Yes, it looks like these line are only in v1.3.9g

    It would be FAR SMARTER to do a proper upgrade to 1.3.9h ... it's just a matter of replacing a few files.
