    Default change order status term

    When sending a customer an email update, my client wants to change the order status term "Delivered" to the term "Shipped". I can't find the file to change this. Help please!!

    admin > localization > order status

    you can edit in there.

    It may not be obvious, but the order status is just an item displayed to the Admin, saved in the Database and (if desired) emailed to the customer when the Admin edits an order.

    Setting the status to any value does not actually modify the order or delete it or whatever, it is just a tag associated with it for reference.

    Thus you can add any other statuses you like if they will help you process and find orders easier.

    That sticks to the KISS method, keep it simple stupid...i looked all over the place...thanks very much for your help. I received countless emails saying that their status says delivered but they have yet to receive it. Now i won't get those emails! Thanks so much!!
