Default landing/home page for "all items"?

Hi all, I have a few questions about my layout, maybe someone can shed some light. Please keep in mind I'm a total newbie and this is my first time using Zencart..

Here's the store's current landing page:
    http://www.inyourownwords.me/retailers

Is there a way to make it so this page below ("all cards") comes up as the landing/first page instead?

    http://www.inyourownwords.me/retaile...=index&cPath=1

The store only needs this 1 page...

Can't seem to figure it out. Currently using v1.3.9h.

I also have a number of other questions, but I assume a separate thread will be the proper procedure so it's easiest to find an answer for upon a search?

    Thanks!

    Admin/layout settings/main page-opens with category

how do you determine which of these is the appropriate selection?

    0= Top Level Categories
    Or enter the Category ID#
Note: Sub Categories can also be used Example: 3_10

OOPS! I forgot one piece. You also need to set this to 1:

admin/layout settings/categories-always show on main page

Then use the category ID, which in this case is 1.

    Didn't work for me...
Changed settings for "Main Page - Opens with Category" and "Categories - Always Open to Show SubCategories" according to instructions but this main page banner still shows instead of the category #6 I wanted. Anything I'm missing?

Always open to show subcategories applies to the menu, not the main page, That just means that when you click a category it opens up the tree.

You need to set categories-always show on main page to 1, and main page-opens with category to the category or sub-category number you want to use.
