No Rates Above Certain Weight Error

I'm running into issues with Fedex AND USPS (as opposed to just Fedex) not providing shipping quotes on orders over about 70lbs. My setting for maximum weight is 10,000 so that isn't the problem.

Any thoughts?

I tried testing this out on a competitors site as well and ran into the same issue with Fedex.

If this is just the way the API's work, would anybody have a potential code insert that would consist of:

If weight > ABC then rate = XYZ

of if value returned = null then rate = XYZ?

You cannot set the weight to Maximum 10000 as that is 10000lb per box ...

Try setting it to 50, then check with USPS and FedEx for the Maximum weight they will take and set the Maximum Weight to the lower of the 2 weights ...

That did it. I was approaching that whole minimum weight part all wrong. It was originally at 200lbs and not causing any problems so I starting bumping it up when problems appeared. Apparently moving it down was the solution instead.
