Product Listing

I'm trying to remove some of the product description stuff. Specifically, I don't want product weight when someone clicks the product to get the details. I have it removed under new listing, all products, etc via the admin items Admin>Configuration> New products/All products.


Under Configuration>product listing I have "weight" set to "0", but its still showing up. I know its something simple and that I'm not changing the flag in the right place. Ive looked in the manual and searched the forums.

Is it not under "product listing"? Ive tried to do things like remove product image and stuff, just to try to get anything to change, and nothing has changed...where do i make these edits?

catalog - product types - (choose the product type you want to edit) - edit layout (button is on the right of the page).

The weight is second or third from the top, but there are other things on the page you can turn on/off from there too.

Finally found it, its under Catalog>Product Types>then Show shipping weight under the correct product type.
