What did you change coincident with the problem emerging? If you changed something, reverse it. If you changed nothing, find out if your host has recently made changes to the server configuration.

I added an app a long while ago which I was hoping would allow me too add additional images, I ended up just using the ftp to direct additional images. I downloaded the app and worked out which files I could remove off the ftp. I removed the files and something went wrong so I reversed

I reversed the situation by placing the files back and now its just the categpries will not show?

Obviously you made some error here. The best thing would be to replace those files with fresh copies from a new download (of your version if it's not 1.3.9h). If you have no other admin mods, you could replace the entire admin folder with the fresh set's (except for configure.php).

Oh, and if the admin address you posted was the real one, you now need to change it as it is no longer secret.
