Can I get vistors to register for template downloads?

Hi Guys,

I know this is not a zen cart question but would anyone have any suggestions on the type of script or code that is required to have visitors input their email address before they download a free template file from my site. An email would then be automatically sent to them containing their download link.

I want to be able to add these people to an email list so I can contact them from time to time with special offers. And would add a terms and conditions acceptance under the email entry box.

Any suggestions on where to start or complete would be greatly appreciated.

Can't you just use the downloadable product capability built in to Zen Cart?
