Database Question

I think I may have screwed up! ...lol

I did not backup my database before moving my zencart website from one server to another. All I did was use filezilla and drag the zencart folder onto my desktop, thinking that all the files I needed were in there....mostly because I didn't see any zencart related files anywhere else on the server.

Now I don't know if I lost my complete database, or if it might be retrievable somewhere within the zencart folder...

Any ideas would be very appreciated....

It won't be with the files. Do you still have access to the old server ? If not, you're out of luck unless your old host will give you a copy from their backups.

I do have access to the old server and there is a folder there called db backups...the only file in that folder is a file called .htaaccess and it looks like a pretty small file.
Is that what I'm looking for? How do I access it?

You'll need to access the database on the old server using phpMyAdmin from the control panel.

Where should I see phpMyAdmin in the control panel? Is it something I need to install into Zencart?

It would be in your hosting account control panel - maybe CPanel, under Databases.
