    Default Error message

I was following the advice in the wiki titled "Important Site Security Recomendations"

When I checked the myDebug files in the cache folder I got the following:

[12-Jun-2011 03:00:03] PHP Warning: session_start() [<a href='function.session-start'>function.session-start</a>]: Cannot send session cookie - headers already sent in /home1/syzygype/public_html/includes/functions/sessions.php on line 114
[12-Jun-2011 03:00:03] PHP Warning: session_start() [<a href='function.session-start'>function.session-start</a>]: Cannot send session cache limiter - headers already sent in /home1/syzygype/public_html/includes/functions/sessions.php on line 114

What does it mean and how do I fix it?

    Thanks for any help offered!

Without a ton more information I can't really guess which thing you did would have caused that to happen.
So, I guess you should probably undo whatever you had done.

    Thanks for the reply DrByte.

I don't think I did anything. Well nothing that I was aware of

I was just working my way down the list in the wiki article and it said to check the cache for myDebug files. I did and found a number of files, most of which seemed to give that message.

Well, there's no good reason for line 114 of the sessions.php file in v1.3.9h to be throwing that kind of error. Sounds like a bad addon is maybe trying to re-start the session, after it's already started.

I have exactly the same occuring in my installation of 1.3.9h.
with the same 2 lines appearing in the debug file - which fills the cache up rapidly

    No add-ons installed.

    Did you find the answer?
