Reinstalled on new server: No Categories, products or EZpages

I had to upload my my zencart folder to a new server location today. The zencart folder I uploaded was one I saved to my local computer a few days ago when the site was operating perfectly on another domain. After I uploaded the zencart folder today and then chose the proper template to use in the Adim>tools area, the home page comes up, but the dropdown menu isn't working. When I went to the admin panel to look around, I noticed that none of my ez pages are there and none of my products and categories are there....
Any ideas?.....

I really need help on this one....

Did you actually install ZC on the new server - set up the database and all that jazz, or did you just copy a ZC folder from one server to the other?

Did you correctly install ZC on the new server, and then import the old database, copy over all files/folders except for the two config, and run the fix cache key?

No...I may not have done it right, I just moved over the folder from the computer to the server...can you give me a link to the proper re-install method?
