    I am using version 1.3.9h. For the most part my cart has been working great. I also have had emails stop and after checking the email service, host and everyone else other than zencart, they still do not send. So I tried going to the cart and making a new account as a customer would. When I signed up and then bought an item, I recieved all the emails. So either the older accounts are getting blocked or something else is going on. I am just going to either wipe out my email base and have people put new info in, which seems to be a good idea as most people are changing emails like their underware or just leave it alone. Thought I would show my dealing with the same problem that a lot of people from different hosts and areas are. Thanks for all the fast responses and good work on this project.

    1. JohnnyT's problem was code busted by an addon.
    So, not a bug, not a ZC core code problem.

    2. Harri's problem is that emails for Order Status Updates to NEW customers don't work.
    3. sparktronic's problem is the exact opposite of Harri's problem.
    Given that these two problems are exact OPPOSITES of each other and completely conflict in the symptoms, it would seem that the problem is actually outside Zen Cart and more likely related to email server problems.

    Iam also having the same problem, customer just called to check on her order. I explained that I did send her email 2 days after her order was placed to give her an update and she said she never received it. I asked her to check her spam box which she did Nothing there either, we did a test email while on the phone again she received nothing.

    What about other emails? Is it only your Order Status Update emails that are allegedly not arriving at their intended destination? Do you get YOUR copy of those update emails? Also, what version of Zen Cart are you using? What addons do you have, etc etc ... (see the Posting Tips section when you click Reply below)

    I sent out a newsletter last week and only a few customers received that? but it is when I go to update a customers status they are not receiving them.

    Still using 1.38 I have uploaded 1.39 but not transfered live website over yet.

    I have never received a copy of my update status to my customers, addons I do not know being someone else set up my website, what would I look for to see what is there.

    Just wanted to let you know that this may not have been to any incompetence on the part of the coder. I also created this problem for a customer and it's due to the google checkout which by the way I don't recommend people using at all. I got talked into installing for a company and they are already regretting it.
