I need to find out if all the emails in the database are valid and to get better results in my newsletter campaigns.

How can one make all existing customers subscribed to the newsletter?

Then either the invalid emails will bounce back or customers will unsubscribe themselves.

I'm sure there is a SQL statement that will subscribe all customers to your newsletter, but do you really want to do that ?

If you gave me the option to subscribe to the newsletter and I declined, suddenly finding myself as a subscriber would ensure I wouldn't return to your store.

I have found myself in that boat with online sites that I have bought from and wondered, how did I get back on the subscription list.

According to my host's policy a Double opt-in needs to be in place. They way they word makes you not want to use their server to send the newsletters or emails.

I'll use a service like icontact next time or other.
