Gift Certificate Calculation Not Passed - Custom Payment Module

Hi,
We had a Custom Payment module made for a particular bank.

After we upgraded and made some changes we face the following problem.

If order is is worth $100 (example), customer uses gift certificate of $20, the amount shown on the Banks payment page is $80 .

However when customer returns to our website, the order page does not show the calculation of the $20 gift certificate nor it is deleted from the Database.
The order total shown is $100 itself, however you can see we received payment of $80.

Please suggest what could we look into.

If somebody suggests the variable we should look into , I'll pass on this info to my developer .

It sounds like your custom module is skipping the checkout_process step after payment is collected.

"Yes we use check out process here is the code, zen_redirect(zen_href_link(FILENAME_CHECKOUT_PROCESS, '', 'SSL', true, false));"

Sorry, but I can't tell you what's wrong with your module by looking at one line of code.

There are several built-in modules as well as addon modules which handle gift certificates just fine. Compare your module against those to figure out what's different and thus what's broken.

He says everything is similar to codes used for Paypal.

From what I saw the ot_gv does not pass to the order.

Anything particular we could look into.

The problem was very much what you stated on your first reply.

"module must be missing checkout_process step "

I had it sorted by another developer.
