Default Enablling SSL Certificate on my site

    Hi,

Im trying to enable my SSL certificate on my site. If you go to https://www.calzuro.com/new/store you'll notice that my site shows that it is a secure site. But if someone were to go to www.calzuro.com/new/store there is not secure site symbol. How to I get this to show up? I changed the configure.php to enable ssl and it didnt work. Just wondering if you guys had any ideas.

    Thanks

When you add something to your cart and click to start checkout, it switches into SSL mode properly for pages that need to be treated as secure.

okay great thank you. Do you know why my old site www.calzuro.com (Click on Shop Now to go to zen cart site) wont do the same? I click to go to checkout and it says my site is not secure (Displays a red slash through the https).

Pay attention to the section discussing stylesheets. That seems to be what is causing the problem.

No, it's all the hard-coded images in the footer.

Ah, you're right - of course. I assume he can fix that by changing the links to point to https.

Better to make the image links be relative instead of absolute, at least for the images that are self-hosted. Just as explained in the FAQ article I mentioned previously.
