I've spent a lot of time trying to find information on setting actual prices on 6 levels, rather than setting discounts. Several years ago, before I understood backing up files, and how to change files, I had a shopping cart designed by an individual who is no longer alive (to the best of my knowledge). When he got real sick, he shut down his hosting company without notifying any of us, and the cart was lost (I didn't know then about working offline). Here's what I was able to do:

Customer Groups/Prices: had 6...the basic "new customer" price level, 4 preferred customer levels and a wholesale level. Customers would then be assigned to a level - standard stuff. Here's the big difference:

When entering a product, I was able to list 6 prices - one for each level. Here's basically how it appeared on product entry:

Price 1: 50.00 - this was the regular retail price assigned
Price 2: 48.75 - this was the Pref Cust Level 1 price -2.5% disc
Price 3: 47.50 - this was the Pref Cust Level 2 price - 5% disc
Price 4: 46.25 - this was the Pref Cust Level 3 price - 7.5% disc
Price 5: 45.00 - this was the Pref Cust Level 4 price - 10% disc
Price 6: 25.72 - this was the wholesale price for retailers - not based on a retail price discount, but on a percentage added to my cost

Since I use several vendors/manufacturers with varying costs to me, a straight discount for wholesale pricing doesn't work. I was also able to block the wholesale price from overall sale pricing for regular customers. Is there an add-on that will do this just I've just overlooked? Or does someone have a program that will do this? I can work w/html and css, but haven't even a newbie working knowledge of php, or I'd try to make one for myself.

Using zc version 1.3.9h - got hacked last month , so I'm rebuilding the site with a different url until I get it ready. The only change I've made to the basic zc is changing to the "Glacial Ice" template - no other add-ons.
