Default Site File Monitor mod timeout error.

    Is anybody using this mod?:

    http://www.zen-cart.com/index.php?ma...oducts_id=1089

It looks very interesting and useful. It installed just fine, and when I ran the first button update, (delete reference file), it created the new reference file and updated the log file lickity split. However, when I run the second update button, (Execute Sitemonitor), it times out and produces a fatal error because the execution time exceeds the PHP limit of 60 seconds. I also tried the Manually Execute Sitemonitor option. Same result.

I initially installed it in 1.39h. I thought perhaps it was a compatibility issue, so I also tried it in a 1.38 install. Same result.

    Anybody have any ideas?

Update: It did just complete on one site. It took several minutes, but somehow managed to avoid the 60 second limit fatal error. I'm happy to report that it appears to work. It detected both the new file I added, and the changed file I edited.

I'd still like to figure out why it's timing out most of the time.

You might want to try SnapShot http://www.zen-cart.com/index.php?ma...oducts_id=1207 it has just been updated. For ZC 1.5.x and 1.3.x

Snapshot is sweet! Did a test install, runs fast and picked up the file changes and deletions I made to test. Off to do some more installs. Thanks, again!

Glad the install went OK. I was worried that going out and getting the extra class file would be to much for the user.

No worries. The install is a piece of cake. One of the easiest mods I've done.

Just got done installing and testing on one of my live sites. This puppy whipped through 41,000+ files in less than 13 seconds. Again, it had no trouble picking up the test files I deleted/added/edited.
