Display a product - but do not allow selling it

I would like to display a product and not allow it to be purchased. I do not want the product to have an "Add To Cart" button. The product is for display only. I see a radio button that says display only, I don't know if this is what I am trying to accomplish. I don't know what "display only" does. Help. Please. Thx.

As a quick fix, you could set the product (in its editing page) to Product is Call for Price:

This would swap the add to cart for a "call for price" note. If you are not using call for price elsewhere, you could redefine that text to say "this product is not for sale".

Or configure it to be Document - General as its product type.

NOTE: be careful on Document - General as you do loose some display settings of this Product Type ...
